Not only did Chemie Grunenthal create a drug which they released onto the market untested, and believe me, even in the 50's, other pharmaceutical companies were testing their drugs on pregnant mammals as they knew too well a drug can pass through the placenta - oh yes - in those long ago years and prehistoric times and olden days - our doctors and pharmaceutical companies knew these dangers very well - they then refused to accept any form of responsibility and have continued for the next 50 years to ignore the pleas of thalidomiders around the world.<br />Now there is no more pleading. <br />I was once asked shouldn't we let bygones be bygones. Hmmmm.
